ZAVery comfortable home and beautifully decorated. Short walk to the beach and shops
SELovely cottage that felt very newly decorated. Great to be able to park outside and right in the heart of lovely Zandvoort! The landlady, Vera was lovely and had made the house feel very welcoming. She also helped out with washing for us as I had mistakenly thought there was a washing machine at the house.
It doesn’t have a great outdoor area, although there is a table in the yard but it is surrounded by concrete walls so didn’t feel very inviting. We ended up eating all meals inside even though the weather was lovely. If you are a group with different time schedules it could be good to know that there isn’t really any sound insulation between rooms or floors so when someone wants to get up or stay up - you all do. I had misunderstood and thought there was a washing machine and an iron - my mistake. It definitely influenced my review though as I assumed for the price we paid for one week that would be standard.
GBThis is a lovely holiday home, it is spacious, beautifully decorated on the inside, has everything you need and is in a good location near the beach, shops and restaurants.
