Gorgeous Renovated Home With Large & Private Lot

Location was good

The house needs major work, it is nothing like the pictures online..the floors, cabinets, tiles, nightstand, furniture etc all had damages. We didn't feel safe at the home because everything was so in despair..It was 3 of the worst nights of sleep I've had. The host was apologetic, but that didn't make it better. She gave us our cleaning fee back bc it was clearly an issue. Bugs were smashed all over the walls, mold issues, ice maker leaking, it just needs to be cleaned and repaired before anyone else stays there...it may be okay for some but we don't live like that. Sorry but it needs to be said. Lights didn't work, ceiling fan didn't work, rain comes in above the fireplace etc..

The location and privacy was nice and quiet. It was definitely roomy for all of us. The house was great and beautiful and in a beautiful location with woods around so we took in the fall colors. We liked that we were able to sit outside and have a fire on the patio. It was definitely better then going to a motel.

We had to kill about 20 wasps inside the home the first day we got there. The beds were a little hard for us but doable. There was trash piled up outside the back of the house by the windows of the master bedroom so we couldnt open curtains to enjoy the view and animals had got into the trash. We also had issues with the keypad not wanting to work some of the time. And even tho we paid a cleaning a fee we were told to start laundry before we checked out.

Lovely, clean, comfortable, good location for our needs.

We only had one issue. For some reason, we could not get the front door locked when we left. We could dead bolt the door while we were there, so we felt perfectly safe, but something didn’t work properly when we left. And it seems very expensive, but it is in line with hotel rooms and b&b’s of today. We are just living in an age of runaway inflation!

Perfect location for our stay, lovely home and decor, comfy, welcoming, roomy, clean, privacy!!, Comfy beds, exceptionally comfy pillows, updated appliances. Convenient to town and our venue, but secluded and private. We'd love to stay there again next year for our event! Thank you for a lovely stay!
