It wasn't B&B - we knew that! The location was ideal for us. Beautiful views and very peaceful. The cottage was very well appointed and clean and the hosts were very pleasant & helpful and the fruit cake left for us was delicious and very welcome!

Really comfortable beds and 2 large bathrooms with showers. French doors from living rooms and bedroom go directly onto the patio, which has a great view. Came with a fully equipped kitchen, enough sofas and dining table and a loaf cake 😁. Driveway entry was secured with a gate that we could control. Host was lovely and their dog was so friendly and wanted pets but stayed outside so that was good.

The extra toilet had a bad smell that wafted through the place when the door was opened, so we avoided opening it a lot. The glass near the front doors gives full visibility into the house when the lights are on, which isn't great as the house entrance is on the drive and the owners house is right next to us. We used pillows from the chairs but proper coverage like blinds would be great if people wanted the privacy.

I can not praise this wonderful accommodation enough. Set in a beautiful countryside location with amazing views. The barn is so spacious and spotless,fabulous kitchen and lovely comfy bedrooms with ensuites.. We were welcomed with a yummy cake and a visit by Baxter, the dog alongside Tia and the horses. The hosts could not have been any more welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back .
