Gaer Fawr Barns

This was a last minute booking due to exceptional circumstances and the owners were so accommodating and helpful. The property was perfectly placed for our circumstances as we needed to travel 8 miles each day to a property.

No dislikes at all

Very clean and spacious for two people. Loved the coffee machine. It matters to have good coffee! Loved the patio area and the amazing view. Really felt relaxed and calm staying there. Very good value for money! Owners were friendly, helpful, and thoughtful, welcoming us with milk in the fridge and cake! To top it all the weather was amazing!

Discovered worker bees in the living room window shuts, which was a little unerving but fascinating. I realised that this is the countryside and bees are all part of this life!

The views & the accommodation as a whole was very nice and well appointed - nothing not to dislike.

View from the property and rural location. Very quiet and private.

The access drive to the property needs attention as there are some large pot holes and loose surfaces.

Excellent choice: location, surroundings, cleanliness and superb hosts. Totally recommend it

the only improvement needed is to change the mattress, which was too soft (can also depend on personal preferences)
