"Special stay at a spacious place near good trails for hikes and stunning views on Mt Fuji"

The owner Yoshi welcomed us with open arms. We loved interacting with him and listen to his stories. We liked the wood stove, which can be used as an open fire. Plenty of wood to keep it going. The Corvette in the room made it very special. Especially for us as car enthusiasts.

Beds were a bit on the narrow side. Some areas, e.g. bath room, showed signs of aging and could use an upgrade.

Lovely peaceful hideaway close to restaurants and 7/11. The host was very informative on how to use appliances Check in/out was easy. Bbq available but i didnt use it as planned. House was clean and plenty of towels cutlery and utensils. The corvette was a great surprise for the boys in our group😊

"A perfect place to stay while visiting Fujisan"

We could not ask for a better place to stay while we were visiting Mount Fuji. The shed itself is a masterpiece and it is in a beautiful and quite area. Of course the '64 Shelby with no. 75 in the living room / garage is an absolute plus to the whole experience, but the favourite part of our stay was how our friendly host, Yoshi welcomed us and shared the whole story behind this amazing place. We hope to get back soon to visit again!

Garden Shed’s primary offer to guests is the serenity of the place. it is a very quaint house with modern facilities. My family and I were very comfortable and at home.

Garden Shed is a beautiful location right next to Mt. Fuji and is rich in history. I have stayed at many hotels and Air BnBs in Japan and this is by far the best I have stayed at.
