Holiday Home Forest Peace, Lavrovec

The location is really amazing, you do not see anything except the forest around you .Very clean and well equipped - you will find all you need for cooking and cleaning. Extremely private and amazing views around you.

The road to the location was a bit hard, but it was worth it for 100%.

Everything you need is present, the host is very helpfull, and easy to reach. The location is lovely situated in a very quiet forest, but this also means you really need a car to get there and around. Plan your shopping as you need to count on a 10-15 minutes drive for the closest shops. The top of the Lavrovec hill is a 10 minutes walk and offers stunning views and lovely sunsets. Don't hesitate to go up in a misty morning, you might just be above the clouds :-). From the house you can do a number of nice walks and if you want to relax, you can always find a place in the sun. We had a stroke of bad luck with a broken coffee machine (next day replacement by the host - as it broke down on a Sunday) and an Internet issue due to a lightning strike (same day fix by the host) so really good support here.

The sitting area inside is a little limited on the ground floor, but not a real big issue either. The roomy bedroom upstairs (more like a mini studio) compensates and offers some privacy for teenage kids.

The house is truly lovely, perfect private location and very cosy. The host was excellent and took care of all our needs. We wish we didn’t have to leave!
