Casa Carmela

La ubicación, con vistas al mar y al Teide desde la terraza, y que es un lugar que transmite paz y descanso. Se puede aparcar con facilidad y los anfitriones, una magníficas personas.

Très joli emplacement, petite maison typique des Canaries avec tout le confort.

Le manque de petits commerces à proximité, peu de restaurant ou alors fermé.

La casa es genial. Está en el pueblito de La Guancha, con lugar para aparcar siempre enfrente de la casa, la casa es acogedora. La planta baja tiene cocina con barra y un pequeño salón a la entrada donde hay sofás cama, y un baño. En la planta de arriba hay habitación y otro baño, desde ella se accede a dos terracitas muy agradables con vistas al océano y al pueblo. Subiendo otras escaleras también hay un solarium. Hay de todo, no le falta nada. Volveríamos. La dureza de la cama de arriba es ideal, por fin un colchón en una vivienda vacacional que cumple con mis expectativas. La guancha además es un buen punto para visitar el norte de Tenerife y aún más sin perder tiempo en buscar aparcamiento, como si ocurre en puerto la cruz y otros sitios.

Todo perfecto. Lo único, tener en cuenta las escaleras de acceso a la casa y las escaleras de acceso a la segunda planta y solarium si vas con una persona anciana.

First of all, a big thanks to Lala & Jorge. They were waiting for us for a late check in around 11:00 PM, and they offered some sweets, a bottle of wine and champagne. The house is a traditional Canarias house and we really love it. All the facilities are present into the house to ensure a nice and long vacation even you decide to cook. A nice barbeque is available on the terrace and can be used. The master piece of the house is the terraces. There are 3 terraces wit the great view to the ocean and Teide mountain in the same time. A nice solarium is available at the top of the house and is equipped with sunbeds. Some parking slots is available in front of the house on the street. Wi-Fi connection very good and a big screen into leaving room area. The property is close to attractions from north side of the Island and also close to Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz. That period of time is was cold on the area due to some snow on Teide and we asked for a supplementary heater to Jorge. Of course they immediately solve it. For sure if we are coming again in Tenerife we will come back to Casa Carmela. Thanks again for hospitality.

Everything was great....may be as an improvement idea could be nice to have also a dishwashing machine....for the people that choose to use the kitchen regularly.

The aparrment was nice and clean, well equipped, and very calm. The view was superb from the terraces. Thank you.

The WIFI signal was strong enough only on the ground floor, so we couldn't use the Internet in the bedroom upstairs or on the terraces.

The hosts are lovely people! We arrived a bit later than we had agreed due to a hick-up with the car rental agency but that was not a problem for them at all. We were given a warm welcome, there were smiles all around. There was even a welcome basket with wine and cookies waiting for us! The daughter, with whom we communicated (she speaks English) was equally lovely. Communication was great. The house itself is a wonderful charming rustic property. It has everything you need, and more. The terraces are in one word amazing! Fantastic ocean views!!! The property is located in La Guancha, which has all the facilities you may need (petrol stations, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, health care centre). The motorway is also not that far, which makes it easy to explore both the northern and the southern part of Tenerife. The next time we visit Tenerife, we will definitely be back!
