The hosts were great in their communication and really accommodating in terms of check out times etc. The house was well equipped and the location was beautiful

The hot water seemed to go a couple of times and didn’t come back for a long while (even when boosting), but other than that we had a great time. The only bit of feedback we’d like to give is regarding the hot tub. On the listing, it mentions that the property has a hot tub, which was one of the biggest things that made us book this particular property. However, it doesn’t state anywhere in the listing that the hot tub is a separate building to the house, shared with other properties and allows for one 30-min slot per stay. We were travelling with children and so usually book a property that has a hot tub that we can make use of in the evenings. This was not possible and therefore meant that we were unable to make use of it. Not criticising the rules as such, but feel it should be stated clearly on the listing as we would likely not have booked on this occasion if we were aware.

The property was very cosy and clean. The property had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and the host was kind and wonderful and recommended us great places to visit during our stay.

It was way above expectations. Clean, tidy, and good sized rooms all round. Host was very accommodating, especially as we had a giant dog with us.

Slight shortage of hot water in the evenings. Could have done with a grab rail in the down stairs ensuite shower. There were either mice or other small rodents in the loft space that we could hear , particularly at night. Think this needs seeing to.

Eine herrliche Umgebung, ein wirklich schön eingerichtetes Farmhaus mit viel Platz und einer großzügigen Küche. Die Besitzer sind äußerst freundliche und nette Menschen, dazu gehören auch zwei wundervolle Hunde Punkt am Morgen wird man mit den ersten Gesprächen der Lämmer geweckt, was für uns viel zu Atmosphäre beigetragen hat. Auch das Wetter hat es außerordentlich gut mit uns gemeint. Für einen Besuch eines Supermarktes gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten, das etwas näher gelegene, jedoch preislich hoch angesetzte Coop in Llandovery oder das etwa 40 Minuten entfernte Aldi, dass jedoch von seinem Sortiment und den Preisen unschlagbar ist.

Uns fällt ad hoc nichts ein, was gegen das Kestrel Farmhaus spricht, wenn man sich bereits vorzeitig darüber im Klaren ist dass es nicht an einer großstadt liegt, aber das sollte einem bereits zuvor klar sein. Nichtsdestotrotz hat auch Llandovery viel zu bieten und die Schönheit der Natur dort ist innerhalb von 20 - 30 Fahrminuten erreichbar.

The hosts were truly superb and welcoming and the place is peaceful in one the most beautiful valleys in Mid-Wales.
