"Casa super kuki y acogedora"

Nos fuimos de vacaciones familiares y el objetivo era disfrutar de zonas de baño y visitar alguna ciudad, la verdad es que la casa está genial, super kuki y acogedora, dispone de todo lo que puedas necesitar, los dueños y los vecinos son super amables. Hay un terraza, cerca de la casa, que nos comentaron los vecinos, no está señalada, donde puedes disfrutar de las vistas tomando y picando algo, las camareras super simpáticas y amables y siempre facilitando información de la zona.. la aldea es super tranquila ideal para desconectar de la ciudad, rodeada de naturaleza y animales domésticos. Todos los días viene la panadera a repartir pan.. El idioma no ha sido un inconveniente, todos super atentos por hacernos entender, con paciencia y simpatía, llegábamos a tener conversación!! la verdad es que me llevo un buen sabor de boca de estas vacaciones!!! Muchas gracias por ser tan acogedores!!

El gran inconveniente es la carretera, al estar en una aldea en la montaña, las carreteras son de puerto, estrechas y con muchas curvas, con este detalle no contamos, ya que las ciudades como Montealegre o Braga están cerca, pero se hace un poco pesado por el tipo de carretera, ojo!! El amante de este tipo de carreteras lo disfrutaría un montón!!!.

"A quaint out of the way sort of place but not one that we would visit again….."

To be honest we were a little disappointed with our stay in Casa do Palheiro. There were a few facilities listed that were not available on our arrival. Although the upstairs had some form of heating available. The downstairs area remained cold throughout our stay. I asked the host vis WhatsApp about the wood stove and some logs to heat the place up and was informed that they don’t use the stove at this time of the year! Therefore, the downstairs area remind cold throughout our stay.

Not all the facilities listed were actually available to us and the lack of heating downstairs made life uncomfortable.

super clean and really cosy. It has a barbecue! 😜 Maria José, the hostess, was very responsive and very kind to us.

as it is suitable for families, should have a washing machine to avoid us to bring the clothes dirty, small detail however.

Exceeded our expectations. Perfect place to run away from the every day chaos, surrounded by nature :) Super cozy! The temperature of the room was surprisingly good, it was cold outside (we were there in late October) - but very comfortable inside. Very clean - and had everything we needed. The hostess was very welcoming. Thank you!!
