Moonfleet

Moonfleet is perfectly situated on the coast at Chickerell. The views were sublime! It was really an excellent location for coastal walks, popping to Weymouth with the children and just so quiet and relaxing. It's definitely one of the most beautiful locations I've ever visited and I was brought up on the south coast - so that's 40 years of visiting purbeck and surrounding areas. The property is really roomy, light and airy. The sunlight floods in and you can see the coast line and the sea from the dining area. The Garden is also enclosed and large which was a treat. Sitting in the garden looking at the view was heavenly. Our host was marvellous. So kind and accommodating. It was extremely good value for money. Close to every amenity you could possibly need but also felt very quiet. I felt so relaxed ! There's a campsite not far but you can't actually hear anything from it so you still get the feeling of being away from it all.

I should have booked 14 days. A week wasn't enough for us and no one wanted to go home.

Great place with all the amenities for the whole family. Loved the stay and the view. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend. Venue was perfect with breathtaking views and spacious, ideal for my big family.

Scenery was amazing, lovely clean house with a dog secure garden , naughbours was very friendly.

Nothing to dislike

The house was homely which we liked, it was a home from home. Everything we needed was there. The view from the kitchen table was amazing. We went for a resting calm break and this view helped tremendously 😊.

Superb views that are worth the money alone. It's a large property. Only two of us stayed and it was great to have a bit of space. The location was very quiet and not too far from anywhere by car.

It exceeded our expectations so there wasn't much not to like. Small things like the front door sticks at the base so it could be hard to secure for somebody a bit more frail than myself. The bath is small so if you wanted a large bath that might be an issue. Very minor really considering all the plus factors.

Loved the location, views, and walks around the cottage.

There isn't much to not like.
