"Large Property needed for overnight stay"

The size of the property for the price you pay is excellent value for money, we were a large family group which has with numerous generations in attendance. We actually had property numbers 1 & 3 which was a substantial size for our needs. Location was great for access into the town of Ulverston and surrounding areas are easily accessible via both public and private transport. Parking was plentiful onsite which we made use of, but if not the car park across the street was large in size and low cost also.

Properties need a little housekeeping / maintenance work carried out. Scuffs and scraps on walls in hallways and stairways, all purely cosmetic but would make such a difference to a first impression when walking in the front door. Only other thing to comment on was the beds, they need replacing (springs are not great at all) as well as the visual aspects of the mattresses, especially when you are asked to strip the beds yourselves when leaving.

"Enjoyed the location but the house needs a good uplift"

The location was good

The house was a local place where people would stand and smoke their weed in groups of lads.. The beds were part broken/unstable The boiler leaked uncontrollably, the settees were hard and well used and the place needed a good uplift in paint and renewing of items.

"We loved our stay. The house is huge and could comfortably accommodate a family in this lovely town."

Location - great position close to the high street. Lovely house with spacious rooms. Parking space right by the door to the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The heating system was very good and quickly heated the house.

The house could do with a little TLC: many of the blinds in the house were broken; the top floor shower needed a good scrub and a panel repairing (this did not affect the ability to use the shower) and the upstairs en-suite extractor fan was temperamental.
