We were celebrating our Mam's 100th birthday in the nearby Dunmore House Hotel. West Cork Escapes proved to be a great location close to Clonakilty Village, a beautiful house with plenty of room, very comfortable beds, modern and spacious house, and a beautiful view. The best accommodation in the area by a long stretch. Kathleen and Jim are exemplary hosts. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is coming here on holiday. Highest quality and the best value for money I have come across.

"Best accommodation & best hosts I have ever encountered"

We were here for a wedding and after speaking with the other wedding guests, this place sounds like it was the best accommodation in the area by a long stretch. Having been in many Airbnbs and accommodations I couldn't speak highly enough of this house. I would even go as far to say this was the best accommodation I have stayed at! Kathleen and Jim are exemplary hosts - couldn't speak more highly of them. They even loaned me some cufflinks that I forgot to pack for the wedding! They fully stocked the fridge full of sausages, bacon, eggs, bread, milk, juice, coffee etc ! This gaff went over and beyond our expectations and WHEN I come back to west Cork I will most definitely be staying here / I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is coming here on holiday. Highest quality and the best value for money I have came across. Sincerest thanks to Kathleen and Jim for making our trip a spectacular success!

The only issue was that we should have stayed longer. If you decide to book this place you won't want to leave at all !

Everything!! The owner even had breakfast in the fridge for us and we had forgotten to bring milk! It was much appreciated!!
