Muckruss Lodge Clonakilty An Oasis of Tranquility

The house was gorgeous, modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast items given by the host were great, and a lovely touch. We traveled for a wedding in Dunmore House and the property was a 2 minute drive away so very handy! We were only down for the weekend but got to see Clonakilty and Inchydoney beach as the house was so close to both. It was a lovely relaxing stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice distance from Clonakilty and the surrounding attractions, not far from anything. The location was very quiet. The house was spotless and nicely decorated. Appreciated the breakfast supplies.

Ann Marie has thought of everything. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. Ann Marie was very welcoming, with breakfast items and coffee etc provided. We had a lovely stay and hope to return soon!

Nothing! Really well equipped (apart from lack of shampoo)

Ann-Marie was very helpful and gave us all the info we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house is like a home from home with a very well fitted kitchen and all the small bits and pieces you need for a comfortable self catering stay. The house is recently renovated so finished to a high spec and standard. The breakfast supplies did us for a number of days and were all delicious! Beautiful spot overlooking the fields and a view down to the sea! The cosy couch and its lazy-boy feature was definitely a winner with all those relaxing in the evening after a long day touring around West Cork!

There was a bit of intermittent tractor noise on the week day mornings, not very early and as it was silage season is to be expected anywhere in the countryside and Ann Marie was very good in letting us know!
