"Beautiful countryside escape"

Beautiful location incredibly peaceful, lots of animals for our family to enjoy spotting from the balcony alone :) The lodge was really well Kitted out and had all we needed for the weekend

we loved orchard lodge.it was very clean and comfortable., the shower was hot and clean. the kitchen had everything you needed. we had cows hens and sheep grazing the fields around us a very peaceful place. we would recommend to our family and friends.

"Lovely cottage, not quite pet friendly"

Lovely little cottage in picturesque farm location

It’s advertised as pets welcome but two days before our visit we were told our cat would need to be locked up in an out building when lever we weren’t around so we had to make alternative plans for him last minute. Hosts also could have been more generous with things like loo roll.

Anne is the perfect host, so friendly and made us feel very welcome. There were fresh eggs, chocolate and banana cake along with some gin and tonic waiting in the fridge. The Lodge is a home away from home, so cosy and comfortable it had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, better than our own! We visited in March when it was cold and raining but it didn't dampen our stay at all. The Lodge is so warm and cosy with lovely views of the country side, it was so peaceful and relaxing. A little Robin likes sit on the door handle and sing to you through the glass, while the chickens happily roam around outside. WiFi was excellent... to look at dates for a return visit! I can't recommend it enough, only negative was having to leave.

Extremely well equipped. Lovely quiet location on a farm with nice views. Very friendly and helpful hosts without being in any way intrusive
