A beautifully quirky property set in a beautiful part of Devon. The Highwayman Inn is a must to visit and Sally and Bruce were such great people, very welcoming and accommodating We will definitely be back again.

It was fabulously quirky and so warm and cosy

The most beautiful and unusual cottage with the most lovely owner Sally who went above and beyond to make my birthday weekend the best ever. The cottage is a minutes walk from the edge of Dartmoor! Perfect for early morning walks. Possibly the best place I've ever stayed (and I stay in a lot of places) Sally owns the amazing Highwayman Inn opposite, which is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be back and I can't wait!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The comfy bed, the slipper bath, the round and arch windows, the stone work, the beams, the fact there is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer if needed. Great heating. The location. And of course Sally herself who is just the loveliest person you could ever meet.

A beautiful old, quirky property, we loved it. Full of history and interesting nooks & crannies. It’s not modern minimalist, it’s a lovely home. Dartmoor and all its beauty on your doorstep. Sally & Bruce are delightful hosts, full of fascinating local info - and just across the road is their fascinating & unforgettable Highwayman Inn. A little piece of old Cornwall, just lovely.

I liked everything. There are quite a few steps in the garden and curved stairways in the house if that would be a problem for you.

Such a wonderful unique and quirky property. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. Hosts very easy to contact and attentive. Opposite a famous pub.

No saucepans just larger pots with handles. No oven gloves.
