Portaferry Waterfront Townhouse with Hot Tub

The view across the loch from the cottage was exceptional. It is one of the most delightful places we have visited in Ireland. People were friendly and engaging. We visited many of the surrounding attractions. Our host reacted immediately to a couple of minor issues.

We used the cooking facilities every day. We have listed a few items for our host which would improve the kitchen, e.g. oven gloves.

This is a beautiful property in a lovely location. Great to explore the Ards Peninsula , the Mournes, Strangford Lough and the local area. Lots of lovely beaches nearby- we had some great swims. A good variety of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The house is so lovely and the hosts provided a really thoughtful welcome pack. Looking forward to returning soon!

The location of the property was serene overlooking the harbour, the house was beautiful and everything we needed was at hand. The kitchen was so practical a joy to cook in , the rooms and beds were so comfortable

The hottub could have been a little warmer, the weather was quite cold and the temp of the water didn't allow for as quite a nice experience as we would hv thought.

Only a minor thing the solar lights around the hot tub worked intermittently every 10 mins

Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable furnishings. Two spacious sitting rooms plus smart kitchen/diner. Utility rooms with washing machine and dishwasher. Wonderful setting right on the seafront, just a couple of minutes from pubs, restaurants and shops. Lovely welcome pack with wine, cheeses and meats, bread, butter and milk

Bathroom door hard to close properly, no mirror in smallest bedroom More cutlery and mugs please - would be great if there could be more sets to avoid having to handwash after breakfast, lunch and tea, and to have enough if guests come round. A few more cooking utensils would be great, e.g. large saucepans, potato masher

I liked the lay out of the property ,loved the kitchen especially, The hot tub was a bonus we thoroughly enjoyed it. the front views over the lough to stranford was beautiful . A very peaceful location.

I dont think we disliked anything.
