Old Stables

Très beau séjour. Le logement est confortable et bien situé pour faire de belles visites aux alentours. Le cadre est superbe, un bel écrin de verdure où nous avons eu la chance d'observer les chevreuils. L'hôte est très sympathique. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Merci beaucoup Alison 🌞

Leuke en ruime accomodatie. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Wij warne met onze honden en in de omgeving kun je goed met ze wandelen. Wijnkomen graag weer!

It was a lovely house with a peasful surrounding. We even see some deer so close to the house :) It was easy to check in and out and we did not miss anything at all. The owner is living in the next cottage and she's really helpful.

Lovely kitchen/diner looking onto garden. Very convenient for visiting Knepp. Good dog walks from the door across the fields (bring wellies!!). Bedrooms were a bit tight, and it's near a road that's busy at times. Luckily you can't hear the road much once inside.

Such a comfortable cottage and love the conversion so you can see the garden from outside at the back. Beautiful.

It’s a bit of a sharp turn off the road so easy to miss. But once in its fabulous.

The kitchen diner was well laid out, welcomed by a friendly dog!

Never saw the hosts and they didn't answer the doorbell when we went to ask for help despite being obviously in. One small towel provided no extras, no toiletries, dirt and mould around the bathroom plus a cracked bath panel. Cobwebs, dead insects and dust, throughout. Crumbs, dirty crockery and sticky surfaces in kitchen. The whole place felt unclean so had clean to feel comfortable. Went to hoover the floor and discovered the hoover hadn't been emptied previously. In the process of cleaning found 3 dirty socks from previous guests on the floor in one of the bedrooms and another on the washing machine in the kitchen. Mismatched old curtains, towels, tatty garden furniture and bed linen that had seen better days, cheap furniture with dents in. The whole place felt generally unloved or cared for. No fans provided, sweltering hot nights in small bedroom. Potentially lovely so a great shame. Would NOT go back.
