Luxury Cottage with Valley Views A Peaceful Couples Retreat

Amazing, the attention to detail is spot on and it is home from home. Sue and Pete are so warm and welcoming you feel like you have known them for years, would highly recommend and 100% will be returning.

A beautiful cottage built to the highest standards. Pete and Sue were wonderful hosts who made us feel most welcome from the moment we arrived. I cannot recommend this property enough, situated centrally with easy access to all of Cornwall's top attractions.

This is a fantastic place to stay in, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, near to some wonderful beaches and within easy reach of beautiful towns and lots of places of interest. The kitchen area had everything you needed for a self catering holiday, including oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. All top quality items! The sitting area was so comfortable with a beautiful reclining top quality sofa and tv. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there was another large TV on the wall in there. It had a remote controlled blind for the porthole window. What wonderful hosts Sue and Pete were ..we loved them both. Nothing is too much trouble and they will offer advice on places to go if you need it. This is an amazing home from home ,and we felt totally relaxed and refreshed after a busy first half of the year. We plan to visit again in the not too distant future. What a fabulous bolt hole.. and I cant stress that enough. Oh and I forgot to say about the fabulous pub that serves the best food just a short walk away!

We absolutely loved everything about it!

Located in a small village near St Austell, with a number of attractions nearby. Polgooth is in a beautiful area with nature walks. The Lodge surprised us with excellent quality of fittings, and innovations. Sue and Pete were most welcoming.

We were challenged by driving on the narrow lanes. Everything else exceeded our expectations.

The hosts, Sue and Pete welcomed us warmly and showed us into The Lodge. Everywhere was immaculate and attention to detail was superb. Sue and Pete had thought of everything and The Lodge was equipped with everything we would ever need. The shower was great, the kitchen facilities were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet , there was no traffic, which we enjoyed very much. We loved hearing the birds and nature all around us. It was the perfect place to stay for our holiday

The property has lots of luxury items. Super comfortable bed, super comfortable sofa. Such a peaceful place.

Would have liked to sit and relax looking into the trees. Dining table had the best view.
