Shoreline Cottage

We've stayed at Langezandt on a number of occasions and this was, hands down, the most stress-free and streamlined way to gain access and to depart. Jacques was extremely helpful and responded almost immediately to questions. The cottage is very well situated in the Estate and access to the beach and the neighbourhood is very easy. We loved the hot tub, such a treat. The kitchen was well appointed (cold fridge on arrival!) with everything you require.

The cottage met all our needs especially having en-suite bathroom facilities for each bedroom. The Hot tub was a wonderful experience and the location to the beach was great. Jacques was very professional and accommodated all our requests. We'll definitely book again.

Kitchen was cramped and there is no cupboard space. Dustbin can be larger so that you don't need to empty often.

I liked the facilities and the hot tub. Place was very clean, neat and tidy. A memorable birthday weekend.

I didn't like that we only had 2 red wine glasses. We had planned to cook for 6 people and there was not a big enough pot. I had to buy one at last minute. there was a power outage, and we then learned that the rechargeable lamps were flat. There was a candle and holder we could use though the candle burnt too close to the glass and we had a small pop and glass all over. So small things that could be improved or thought on.

Great place in Struisbaai. The beach is close. The area is quiet and relatively private. The old cape dutch housing is iconic. We really loved this place.

We would have loved to be able to get into the hot tub. Unfortunately, the instructions sent to us were a little scant and suggested that it would be quick and easy. We visited in winter so 5hrs and a full bag of wood later we still had lukewarm water. It may well have been user error but we were disappointed.

We were there in the dead of winter and it was FREEZING! This is NOT the host's fault, obviously but we would warn future visitors to bring warm clothes if they come in winter as S African homes are not prepared for frost (a new global warming issue).

Good location. Good facilities.

Towels were dirty. Some bedding and towels are past there sell by date . Kitchen not equipped well.
