South Shore 1 - Jacuzzi - HOST & CHILL

The home was spacious and everything in working order. The location was perfect with beautiful views. Easy walk to the beach.

Unfortunately we were unable to locate the home. We drove by several times before noticing a lockbox on a door. We found it was not the correct property. We attempted to contact the Property Manager during this time to no avail. Thankfully the manager at the neighboring property advised that the entrance is on the beach side of the home not the address listed. This information could have saved us so much time and headache. Once we located the correct entrance we were able to access the property. Upon entering the property we found a few insects in the property and quickly removed them. After unloading our luggage we were famished. Upon opening the cabinet we found cockroaches on the utensils. We removed the insect and of course we had to wash everything. We later found out cockroaches are common on the island and regular pest control is the best solution. We also had no bed covers on the mattress for the twin bedroom for our young daughters which was on the same floor as our bedroom. We had to move them to the top floor bedroom which made us nervous as they would be alone. After all the chaos the property manager did contact us and apologized. Parking was challenging but we found that the neighbors all parked on the sidewalk which we found odd but managed to do the same as it was more convenient than parking a far distance from the home. It would have been a perfect stay had it not been for these issues. Please try to correct the address/directions, attend to the home being sprayed regularly for pests, and be sure that the bedrooms have proper linens and mattress covers. Thank you.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Very spacious and clean. Joao our host was wonderful and let us check in early and allowed us to have a late check out. We would definitely stay here again :)

Incredible view in a the small village of Sao Roche near Ponta Delgada. The house is big and bright and well furnished.

The air-conditioned doesn't work but it not necessary.
