GBAmazing space, really well thought out with a lovely kitchen area and both bathrooms were modern and contained both a shower and a bath. We couldn’t believe how much was able to fit into what looked like a very humble cottage from the outside. Our party was 4 adults plus a dog and we had plenty of room and didn’t feel cramped at all. There was also a third bedroom with 2 single beds that we didn’t use. Large dining table with plenty of chairs, gave us lots of space for dinner and games. Comfy sofas in the living room. The Christmas tree was a really special touch and added a great ambience to our NYE trip.
We had an excellent stay and really appreciated the layout and thought that had gone into the property. The value for money was excellent, the local area was beautiful (we enjoyed a New Year’s Day dip at The Stone Inn in St Lawrence’s Bay), and check in/out was simple with good communication. A couple of useful kitchen items that would be a great addition to the space were scissors and a pizza cutter. It would also be helpful to have information about how to control the heating as it was a little chilly on arrival. We were able to get the place nice and warm very quickly as there were plenty of radiators and these worked very efficiently, however a note about where to find the thermostat would be useful in the welcome book. The cleanliness of the property was generally of a high standard, however we did have to rewash some of the dishes in the cupboard which seemed to have come out of the dishwasher still wet with a few spots that had not been properly cleaned.

GBLime Tree cottage was warm with interesting decor and catered well for our dog.
The kitchen could have been cleaner and the cloths should have been clean and dry. The 3rd bedroom is a curiosity but has limited use , being only accessible by gymnasts or children who are mature enough not to bump into the rafters.
