GBClean and comfortable, especially the bedrooms. Shower good. Nice big family dining table. Easy access to garden, which was properly enclosed for the dog. Village is in lovely surroundings and relatively peaceful.
Parking was a bit tight for our people carrier and the cottage faces directly onto the main road. It was a good 30 minutes’ country drive back to Maldon (which is only a problem if using the cottage as a base to get to other places in Essex).
