Mountain High

I was very unhappy with the entire stay

When I arrived there was foul odor in the air that we could not get rid of. We looked and looked until we found a large pile of feces on the balcony near the hot tub that we were so excited to try out since this was a romantic getaway. That totally changed my mind and my mood about everything. So I decided to go get in the shower and go to bed since we had a 5hr drive to get there. When I got in the shower there were spider webs everywhere! The next morning when we woke up we also noticed spider webs all over the front entrance (couldn't see them when we arrived because it was so dark). This let's me know that my cabin had not been cleaned in a while even though I was charged a cleaning fee and a hefty deposit. When I contacted the host to let her know what happened the only thing she offered was a 1hr extended check out time (which we didn't need because we had a long drive so we had to leave earlier than the original check out time anyway)! This was by far the worst property I have ever visited in the smoky mountains and I will NEVER book with them again!

We really enjoyed how quiet and private the property was! The cabin itself was quite beautiful and had everything we needed and more!

If I had to give one dislike about the property it would be the angle of the parking spot in front of the cabin. Although still manageable, it was quite steep, which can make some vehicle doors very heavy. That being said it was expected being in the mountains!

I never seen any staff or workers. They don't bother you. You check yourself in and check yourself out
