This bungalow in Swalecliffe was very much as described, giving roomy accommodation , clean and modern furnished with almost all facilities needed. We appreciated the enclosed rear garden which was safe for our dog and also the on-property parking. It is situated a short walk to the shore line and grassy promenade and a slightly longer walk into Tankerton. The bus stops on the main road to Whitstabe in one direction and Herne Bay in the other are also close.

f I have to point out faults then I would say the entrance porch was not welcoming on first arrival with a large cleaning bucket and mop in front of the door. Then to discover that there is no toilet paper in the bathroom and with no idea of the nearest shop is not a good situation.

Great bungalow in a great location with everything you could need. Located on a quite cul-de-sac. Lots of shops and amenity's nearby.

Bulbs in bedside lights were no good. Heating was tricky to get right (to hot to cold) no tea or coffee provided.

The bungalow was bright and very spacious, it was lovely and clean throughout the entire property.

The lighting in the main bedroom was extremely dark due to lightbulbs and lampshade , the largest settee was extremely uncomfortable due to the wooden plank of wood under the cushions ,we both ended up with a backache , the cooker was quite tricky to use , no instruction as to switch the boiler on which we found eventually near the boiler, would have like to have information about recycling , in the end we binned it which was a shame.

the location was good and quiet, but quite a walk from whitstable.quiet garden and weel away from traffic noise.

a few items in the property needed replacing, pillows/crockery door locks quite stiff and hard toopen..there was no information on how to work kitchen appliances.we presume younger people would understand more complicated equipment, never used an induction hob in my 50 years of cooking, and could not understand symbols on cooker and microwave.

Quite location. Spacious comfortable bungalow . Everything you needed was there. Easy to drive into town .lovely people. Lots of places to eat nearby in the car.

Not very comfortable, sofas and beds Mean on toilet roll 1.5 provided for two for a week and cheap. Shower, screen not adequate, drenches the bathroom, needs a rail and curtain. Shower head in poor condition. Cleanliness not good, fridge dirty, cobwebs in bedrooms, mould in main bedroom by bay window/drawers Towels, only one decent bath sheet other towels small and poor quality. Nothing welcoming about this place, others make the effort in so many ways, there was no thought or consideration that you normally find in a place at this price. Photos taken of all these issues. Very expensive for what it is. All in all disappointing with some easy fixes required.
