La balconata sul mare

My family and I were absolutely astonish by this apartament and the whole Giovinazzo. Inside the building you can find everything you need, hosts are incredible hospitable and the town is true example of italian genius loci. We firmly recommend this place

We liked it all!

The location was perfect and everything including beaches were within walking distance. Our host met us at the property after midnight due to a flight delay and the check-in was smooth and easy. If you want an Authentic Italian experience this is the place to visit. Not in a Tourist Ghetto with thousands of other tourists. One feels part of the community seeing the locals talking to each other on the streets in the evening and walking the esplanade along the beach. The accommodation is not 5-star but absolutely perfect for the experience. The value for money at this property well exceeded our expectations The location could not be better and the views are stunning. The old town is definitely worth a visit in the evenings. Plenty of restaurants and plenty to see and do.

This is not a negative comment because it added to the experience. To visit Bari is worth every second but for those without a car taking a bus, is easier. Taxis are not that often seen in both Bari and Giovinazzo and communicating in any other language apart from Italian is not always possible. The buses are frequent. Not meant as a negative comment. Just do not expect the streets to be buzzing with taxis in both towns as it is not the case.

Great location- seconds away from rock beach with clear waters. Lovely apartment with all the facilities that you need. The town felt very safe and you're not far from shops, restaurants etc. Will definitely visit again.

Sofa bed was a little squeaky

the location was perfect and the owner was very welcoming. our flight was postponed that night, but he patiently waited for us around 1 am by night

Kitchen and bathroom fully equipped, you can find anything you need, exactly as at home. Dario and his family were very helpful, friendly and we would like to come back once again. The apartment is at perfect location, really just few steps away from the sea, port and old town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Only thing is the couch/bed, but we read about it in reviews, so it was not surprise. Would take the experience to higher level, if there was proper bed. Breakfast is more like a snack, at least for us in czech. Don´t know how it is in Italy. But there are supermarkets and caffe´s so you can have breakfast according to your taste.

Nice location next to Lungomare Marina Italiana. Well equipped apartment

The best location if you want to rest in a great village of Puglia. The old village is wonderful, we didn't expected such a nice place. The fresh renovated apartment is perfectly located to swim in the warm sea and go snorkeling. You just have to cross the street! We also tasted olive oil in a local property which was a great experience and the visit of the Trulli in Alberobello (1 hour driving) is really impressive!

Just to improve something, it would be better to have a real bed in the main bedroom, the couch is not so comfortable and noisy.
