Swifts Barn Stanbury Wharf

Large property, so surprised when we walked at the size of the lounge. There were only three of us but if you had a larger family then there would be plenty of room to chill either inside or in the secure garden. We didn’t make use of the games room but I would imagine it would be a real bonus for guests. Very clean and well equipped with everything you could need even oil for cooking and some condiments. We had my elderly mother with us so the downstairs bathroom was really welcome.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. Suited us perfectly.

The fact there was bees nests all over the place the kids were bound to one area. The owners didn't seem very approachable or inviting

Our teenage boys loved the games room!! The property is full of character and the open plan area works well. The owners were very welcoming.

The house was very spacious clean and well equipped

It's not a big problem but Main gate is a little bit to close to the road. There's not enough room to pull over off the road whilst you open the gate. Not to bad if there's a passenger who can jump out for quickness

The hosts were very thoughtful with welcome packs for us and our dog

It would have been nice if we could have let our dog off in the field for a run around.

The host left us some eggs which was so fresh . She also placed oils and spices for us. I liked the small thoughts she had about the stay. She put a lot of thought while she prepared the rooms and tge whole house. The house was so comfortable and we felt just at home

There was not anything that i didnt like. My family loved the place, games. The pictures of the house on site were not great but as i entered the house i was just awed.

Host was present on arrival and showed me around the property explaining the facilities available and had a good knowledge of local area.

Everything. It was clean, had everything we needed and garden was fully enclosed for our 2 elderly dogs.
