Die Lodge hat sehr ungepflegt und herabgekommen ausgesehen, wir können das aber nur von aussen beurteilen, da wir keinen Zugang hatten. Please stay away if you have a bit of self care, there are so many other beautyful places in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate or even Raptors! Dont let false advertisement guide you in a nightmare

DEUTSCH: Wir waren zum angegebenen CHECK-IN Zeitpunkt um 14h vor Ort. Wir haben versucht den Eigentümer per Telefon und Email zu erreichen. Um 1630 haben wir es aufgegeben und sind in ein Hotel eingecheckt. Der Eigentümer hat die von uns hinterlegte Nummer zu ersten mal um 1645 angerufen, also fast 3h nach vereinbartem check-in. Wir haben fast 3h bei grosser Hitze gewartet. Das darf nicht passieren. Nun rennen wir dem bezahlten 270 Euro hinterher... ENGLISH: The owner knows exactly that he contacted the number we provided (Shawn Keyser) was called by him the first time at 1645h in the afternoon. 3 hours after confirmed check-in. Waiting outside the lodge with one savanna light and a water for 3 hours is too much. Shame on you, but Karma already hitted you. Amen We were there at the stated CHECK-IN time of 2 p.m. We tried to contact the owner by phone and email. At 4:30 p.m. we gave up and checked into a hotel. The owner called the number we had left for the first time at 4:45 p.m., almost 3 hours after the agreed check-in. We waited almost 3 hours in the heat. That shouldn't happen. Now we're chasing after the 270 euros we paid... FRENCH: Le propriétaire sait exactement qu'il a contacté le numéro que nous avons fourni (Shawn Keyser) et qu'il a été appelé la première fois à 16h45 dans l'après-midi. 3 heures après l'enregistrement confirmé. Attendre à l'extérieur du lodge avec une lampe de savane et une bouteille d'eau pendant 3 heures, c'est trop. Honte à vous, mais le Karma vous a déjà frappé. Amen Nous étions là à l'heure d'ENREGISTREMENT indiquée, à 14 heures. Nous avons essayé de contacter le propriétaire par téléphone et par e-mail. À 16h30, nous avons abandonné et nous sommes enregistrés dans un hôtel. Le propriétaire a appelé le numéro que nous avions laissé pour la première fois à 16h45, presque 3 heures après l'enregistrement convenu. Nous avons attendu presque 3 heures dans la chaleur.

very pleasant and comfortable accomodation, will definitely be back and hope to spend more time there
