"An Comaraich - The Sanctuary"

Great location. Peaceful spot! Great for a family or couples. Loved it! Fantastic views. Great communication from owners.

Het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend. Als je door de “tuin” naar het loch loopt, kun je zeehonden zien liggen op een rots. Host Alan doet er werkelijk alles aan om om te zorgen dat je je thuis voelt. Onze zoon (14) vond dit de tofste plek waar hij ooit geweest is. De ligging is super centraal en het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De kastjes en vriezer staan vol met etenswaar, wat je direct kunt gebruiken. Ook etenswaren die door de vorige gasten zijn achtergelaten. Voor ons was dit even wennen, want je hebt het idee dat er nog iemand woont. Maar toen we Alan ontmoetten en hij zijn visie met ons deelde, begrepen we precies wat hij bedoelde. Zijn enthousiasme en passie werkten aanstekelijk.

Het viel tegen dat we het huisje na 4 nachten weer moesten verlaten 😅.

An Comaraich was well equipped, excellent location, stunning views, peaceful and Alan (owner) was an excellent communicator.

Uitgebreid er is alles te vinden in het huis. In de frisser ook. Echt geweldig.

Niet echt iets. De verhuurder daagt wel uit om iets te vinden wat er niet is. We miste naaigerei

The view from the front room of this property is brilliant. Overlooking the loch and highlands opposite. The location is very quiet and relaxing. This was something everyone in my group commented on.

There was nothing I 'didnt like', although I suspect the isolation and lack of local facilities could be an issue for some.

The house is very comfy with an amazing view over the lake and surrounding mountains. It's just a few minutes before the entrance of Skye which makes it a great place to explore the area. It's well equipped, with board and video games for cosy evenings after spending a day exploring in cold weather. There are a lot of birds around, also adding to the charm of the property. And the private driveway is convenient to park the car. And finally all guidance and communication were very clear, making our stay easy and trouble-free.

La maison d’Alan est cosy et vraiment bien équipée, idéale pour une famille, on s’y sent comme chez nous ; la vue depuis le salon sur l’océan est magnifique ! L’emplacement est parfait pour une journée sur l’île de Skye, à côté du château de Eilean Donan.

Le chemin d’accès un peu étroit pour un gros véhicule ; la cuisine est bien remplie mais attention il faut trier, quelques produits périmés !

Nice view and a kitchen fully equipped.

The house is dog friendly, which is a must for us and a not too frequent feature in properties like this one! The house was ready for any need, the kitchen was already well stocked with essentials which is a nice plus since we wanted to cook and eat in. The view from the living room is absolutely stunning. Handy location to start from to go visit Skye.

Everything! It was a last minute booking and I was only a few minutes away from the house. The owner responded to my early evening call immediately and was so helpful with making sure I had everything I needed. I can't thank Alan enough for providing such wonderful customer service and care - a rare thing these days. Book collection fantastic and I could have stayed reading and looking at the view for a month. Highly recommend the house and the service.
