The Crest Hillside Retreat With Hot Tub

Property provided all that was required. A great view and a picturesque dining room. Location is good for touring the area

A little difficult to access. Beds were in need of new mattresses. 3rd bedroom is bunks. Didn't need the hot tub. Probably best for young couples. Not suitable for older folk

The view from the property was amazing, especially during the evening as the sun set. The hot tub and pool table were the highlight of our stay as a family with 2 teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great, with enough pots and pans for cooking. We even took advantage of the outdoor barbecue. A great stay!

A beautiful home with an amazing view, but in need of some tlc within the property as it is quite tired in places.

The views were amazing and the home itself was immaculate! We took my son and 3 of his friends for his 13th birthday and they all had an amazing time in the hot tub and games room! Would highly recommend staying here and will do again the future.

Stunning property overlooking the valley.

Fabulous location and beautiful views across the valley. Very comfortable and well equipped property. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed the games room and log fire and our holiday at The Crest was very relaxing.

Nothing really. Maybe a couple of bigger saucepans would be helpful.

The property was immaculately clean and very spacious. The beds were very comfy.

The mud around the hot tub was very slippery. There were insufficient toilet rolls. The pillows were tired.

Tracey the host was very helpful and communication was great. From the moment we walked into the cottage we knew it was perfect for our family get away. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable. Well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing. Laying it and looking up at the stars was pure bliss! The conservatory was lovely. Lots of family board games looking over the valley. This cottage was perfect for us. Would definitely book again but unfortunately all the dates we have looked at are booked which is no surprise as this place is a hidden gem! The whole family loved it and we had a lovely relaxing time. Thank you!

The roof of the games room was leaking and as it rained a lot during our visit, we couldn't use the games room unfortunately.

The property was clean, and the views were absolutely stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the garden in the afternoon and watching the wildlife. The hot tub was easy to use and keep clean. Tracy was amazing and would send us daily reminders to make sure that the chemicals were topped up.

The only downside to the property was the town that it’s located in. There’s not much to do and it’s rather run down. However, the actual property was set back in the hillside and was really private so this didn’t effect our stay too much. I would definitely say a car is a must!
