"Good location and not bad for a base. But wouldn’t stay again."

Location was great. Access to garden was also a plus. Kitchen was nice and well equipped if you wanted to cook at home. Nice period features. Good shower. Parking permit saved on parking costs.

House could have been cleaner.. still had dog hair from previous guest and cobwebs. House feels a little unkept/unloved in places, especially the garden which was quite overgrown. Booked for 4 people and one of the beds in the twin room hadn’t been made with the bedding half on/off when we arrived. Didn’t feel like value for money for the cost of the 3 nights stayed.

Lovely house in a lovely location. Very Interesting to examine the history of the house. Kitchen extremely well stocked with so much equipment and crockery, ready to prepare the most elaborate meal!
