Sygun Cottage - Detached Cottage in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park

The location was incredible, lovely local walks. The size of the cottage was incredible! had everything you needed! entrance to the cottage was lovely too. The bench out the front was a lovely touch as well! Lovely little touches, the comments book, able to help yourself to the washing machine etc, the welcome pack was quite extensive with the walks etc, Apple TV was a lovely touch! Really felt like the owners wanted to make you feel at home. We absolutely loved the fire burner, logs provided!

The property was quite draughty, the door was quite annoying in the wind (can’t really be helped granted) we tried to get creative and fold a teabag in the space down the side of the door to stop the banging. We noticed some mould in the corner of the bedroom and in one other location of the cottage.

Location stunning 20 min walk to Beddgelert , cottage welcoming comfy bed views outside cottage spectacular, clean & cosy, very peaceful

Nothing.. was lovely Would suggest facing the bed & sofa towards the wonderful views though, who needs the TV here! The lounge is absolutely huge, the cottage could easily accommodate a sofa bed & bunk beds with some configuration. Would be a perfect stay for grandparents & their children, its a true gem which would appeal to all generations. Lovely when you just want peace & quiet in stunning surroundings.

Such a beautiful cottage, fully equipped with everything you could need and all to an exceptionally high standard. Tucked away just outside the village of Beddgelert, the location is so peaceful and quiet and perfect for getting away from it all. The log burner is a real bonus and perfect to come home to after windy walks. Perfectly situated for exploring North Wales and Anglesea and right in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Views are breathtaking all around! The cottage itself is beautifully furnished, comfy bed and fabulous large shower. We cooked and ate in every night and had everything we needed. Recommended visiting Bodnant Farm shop, great selection of local produce. Highly recommended Sygun Cottage and will definitely be back!

Location was beautiful. Fantastic view just outside the door. Cottage was very spacious, very nicely furnished and a delightful place to stay. Beddgelert was a 20 minute walk away along a lovely road+path. Would recommend the copper mine next door for a fantastic visit.

nothing we didn’t like but after a long journey it would have been nice for tea/coffee to be provided as all places we have stayed has had this option.

The location was fabulous to be able to see so many sights either on foot or a short car ride away

The accommodation more than met our needs, the log burner being an additional bonus on a wet and windy day. So many walks. Beautifully quiet location.
