Coastal Cottage Retreat - Te Awanga Cottages

Beautiful setting and lovely cottage.

Beautiful peaceful cottage looking out over farmland. Not a long drive from Napier so felt quiet but easy to go get groceries or to restaurants. Well equipped little kitchen and we really appreciated the extras like washing machine/dryer and the bath.

Not much to mention except the water pressure for showering/bath was very low. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and would definitely book again

The garden cabin was perfect for our tour of NZ offering us privacy as well as all the usual amenities. The provision of yoghurt and muesli was a nice thought and was much appreciated.

Couldn’t get any signal for tv . Etc Didn’t know how to ask hosts how to fix despite turning on and off ..

It was so lovely to step into the cottage and see the beautiful decor, with a gorgeous view of grazing sheep on a green meadow through the floor to ceiling dining area windows. It was new, clean and fresh. The bath was beautiful with plenty of hot water and the sound of happy birds chirping outside was so relaxing. We had everything we needed.

The mattress was a tiny bit hard for us, but of course that’s only a personal preference.
