Coastal Cottage Retreat - Te Awanga Cottages

Quiet spot, well appointed and had all the necessary items for a quite relaxing weekend, plus a bathtub to soak up in after the 1/2 marathon :).

No Mobile reception at location, so relied on wifi inside the property. But not a bad thing sometimes :)

We had a most relaxing time at Te Awanga Cottage. It was a rainy weekend - but it meant that we were able to stay warm, relaxed, calm and at peace in your beautiful cottage. We didn’t mind the rain at all. We will love to stay again soon

We loved our stay at Te Awanga cottages. We arrived well before check in time on Easter Sunday and Paia who was cleaning the place made us feel really welcome, kiwi hospitality at its best. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and we were impressed by how well designed it was with everything you’ll need. Sheep and llamas to look out at from the deck. Wineries, cafes and fish and chips within walking/biking distance. A very memorable stay, we hope to go back one day.

We loved the privacy that we had. Close but yet have our own space. My partner loved the outdoors. If we could we would have gone for adventures following the tracks

We arrived when it was a cyclone but that made everything more special and romantic
