Family Holiday Home-Free Parking & Self check-in

The location is really convenient for the station, a level walk of approximately 20 minutes in a very quiet residential area. There is a Tesco Express & Aldi just 2 minutes walk away. The property has a modern kitchen & bathroom with a quirky shower room off the kitchen. As a group staying it was good to have single beds.

It was very echoey as there are no rugs or curtains, only blinds. The sound travels throughout the house - not sure if the adjoining neighbours are troubled by that? The bedding is a little tired - the back bedroom mattress had springs that could be felt and it should be replaced. The pine bed was very squeaky too. There were no mattress or pillow protectors which is surprising. The towels provided were adequate.

Wasn’t clean , it may have been cleaned but not properly . Mould on bathroom ceiling , dust and mess under beds .

We stayed as two adults (bro and sis) and two kids (my niece and nephew 5 and 6)We needed three bedrooms and all were really good. We loved the decor of the place very homey. Really handy to have a parking spot and be so close to an Aldi and Tesco. We had great weather and was very easy to jump on the local bus which took 10mins to get to pier. Overall great location. I also messaged about the wifi and got a reply more less instantly which was great.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Super nit picking but there were no tea towels so we ended up using a towel from the bathroom and there was no anti bacteria spray to wipe down kitchen surfaces/dining table etc. we just purchased one from tesco so was no biggie but would encourage some people to clean more :)

Four adults sharing the full house. Rooms adequate, for sharing. Fully supplied with small extras like dishwasher tabs etc

The drive at the front is very tight if you have a slightly larger car as there is a telegraph pole close to the front.

clean and comfortable. Nice and modern with good facilities.

nothing as it was very nice. the only thing I will say is the up stairs bathroom could do with a blind in the window.

The neighbours were very noisy. They had arguments during two nights and the guy was playing with his dog at 4am quite loudly. That may have been a coincidence. The area is working class, so local and therefore not very touristic (nearby). Walking distance to the train station was good. Appartement itself fine and convenient.
