Casa La Breña La Palma

La casa es maravillosa, tranquilidad las vistas y sus rincones, la disfrutamos mucho. Bien equipada.

Es war alles da, was man für einen wunderschönen Urlaub benötigt. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet, man hat einen schönen Blick aufs Meer und es ist immer jemand ansprechbar und steht mit Rat und Tat bereit.

Casa La Breña has everything you need for a lovely holiday in La Palma. It’s light, spacious and very peaceful. I highly recommend a stay

The small villa is great with all appliances you need, beautiful outdoor spaces incl. pool, veranda and barbeque. Communication with Teresa was concise, friendly and helpful. They even granted us late check-out without asking.

Very nice house. Fully equipped with everything we needed. The house and the gardens are very well taken care of. We enjoyed the different sitting areas around the house and the pool, large enough for adults to do a bit of swimming. The location was very quiet, day and night. The host was very flexible with our arrival and departure time. We really appreciated that!

You cannot park at the property, but there is plenty of parking space in the neighborhood. We would have appreciated to have a vacuum cleaner in the house, mostly for a long stay. But that is not a big issue.

Beautiful holiday home on the island Very spacious apartment with all you need. Great view and lovely outdoor area with a pool It's also easy accessible by car. Close to the airport and also to Santa Cruz where there are many restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

Casa Breña looked like a fantastic place to stay. The reviews were stellar, practically all 5-star ratings. On the surface Casa de Breña met all our needs and we booked for ten days. It's in a somewhat rural location, which was nice and quiet. There is a bus ride into town from a stop a short walk from the house. Basically, the house was as advertised as far as accommodation and facilities, sea and mountain views, a swimming pool and a fairly well equipped kitchen. However, not all was as expected. The building is damp (see photos). On entering the building the smell of damp was overwhelming. The host said that the house had not been open for long enough prior to the booking. However during our stay the house remained damp (in spite of our opening windows wide and plenty of sunshine) and the smell was present at all times and particularly bad in some rooms, cupboards and with some items e.g. fleece blankets. There is mould on the walls in places and paint is peeling off in damp spots. This is actually a health hazard. It was almost impossible to warm the bed up because of the damp. Also the shower head was loose, ineffective, and very annoying; it needs replacing. The general cleanliness of the house was poor. Considering we were paying over 120 euros a night it was all rather disappointing and spoilt our stay on La Palma.

Great house, great location and a wonderful island. All you need as a family is there.

The pool could do with some heating. And some furniture items needed attention. But this is all minor. The overall impression is very good.
