Donovan's Out of the Blue

It was a nice place. We came for my daughter to run the marathon. The house was close to everything we needed. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

The house was laid out perfectly and very well appointed. The decks both front and back had plenty of space, seating, and roof coverage. It was a little rainy during our stay. This was our first time traveling with the dog and she loved the fenced yard.

There was nothing not to like about the house!

Overall the space and decor were excellent , layout worked very well for us . Definitely will be looking forward to staying again in the future !

The elevator was hard to navigate

The dog friendly layout and fence were amazing. The elevator was nice to have. Having 2 decks was my favorite part. The beach was very clean (minus jellyfish, but it's the season for them) and not crowded. All in all, it was a lovely trip and we hope to come back!

Some miscommunication issues with reservations and double bookings, booking dot coms fault, I believe, so I would just book this property on a different site to make sure your reservation is solid and not already booked. The owner was friendly, and we cleared it up pretty quickly. (I guess it was lucky we were there first but I did wonder what would happen to the group that was supposed to come and stay half way into our trip and how they managed if they were already en route.) The neighbor showed up on our last day. They have a bright light shining directly into the back bedroom windows that don't have covers and the back deck. It's not this property's fault, of course, but if you have light sensitivity or irritable in laws like me, you may want to put them in a different bedroom. 😉
