Bien situé , belle vue Propre et décoré avec goût . Petits pains déposés tous les matins. Mais un refill de confiture auraient été le bienvenu et si vous êtes de grands mangeurs c’est un peu juste . On a fait nos petits courses à côté à la superette locale.

Very comfortable bed, great breakfest service, sauna and fantastic see view.

Doors to bathroom is a nice design thing, but not very practical.

Good location; close to hiking area and thermal pools.

Road next to bedroom but quiet at night.

The property is brand new, very nice style, great views from the fully glazed frontage. Very convenient, very fiendly host ready to help anytime. Fresh bread every morning was also nice. Our son enjoyed evening jacuzzi tub. Well located to explore Western part of Sao Miguel and the coastline. Easy to park.

Some wild cats were used to the propety from previous hosts so it was not always pleasant and free to move, but the host addressed it immediately and found a solulution. The same with the insect inside. There were small bats living in the stone cladding so it was sometimes noisy during the night, but closed doors fixed it with air con.

Super house with everything you need for an affordable price. Very well located to visit the middle and west side of Sao Miguel. Daily cleaning, fresh bread every morning, coffee (including an espresso machine), fruit… . Private parking. Big sun terrace. There also is a whirlpool, sauna, and gym.

Just to mention one thing… as a recommendation… for us it is not needed to change towels and so every day. Even class hotels are not doing this anymore… except when you really want.

Overall great accommodation with plenty of space and it is very well furnished. The kitchen has almost everything you would need. Although it is house, there was daily cleaning and refill. It also has a nice garden and balcony with good view as well as a great jacuzzi. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly to any messages or questions.

Unfortunately the mobile service coverage is not the best and the WIFI signals were also spotty at some parts of the house likely due to the thick walls.

Omg, I booked this for my parents and they keep reminding me every day that this was their best accommodation they have ever been to. The main point being the staff that were so welcoming and friendly. On their house they were given a few snacks like cheese, local pastries, fruits, Bottled water and a bottle of champagne for their wedding anniversary. The staff also came every morning with fresh bread from the bakery. Great experience for them and make their trip and they forced me to leave a review as this place deservers all the praise it can get

We stayed at 2 bedroom Casa de Magarefa and we loved it. PROS 1. Location - peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds. Close to some cool places like Sete Cidades, Piscina Natural da Ponta da Ferraria, Momo restaurant, Restaurante O Raião, Praya dos Mosteiros 2. Facilities - sauna, gym, jacuzzi, well equipped kitchen 👌 3. Spacious house with great terrace 4. Beautiful yet functional design, comfortable furniture 5. Large bed with good mattress 6. Friendly and responsive host 7. Welcome gifts- local wine, pastry, cheese... 8. Clean

CONS 1. Lack of privacy in the bathroom. It was separated by the sliding glass doors, that were see and hear through and there was a huge window right opposite of shower and bathtub. The blinds were see-through, especially at night with the lights on. It did not face the street or busy area, but we still found it uncomfortable to know that we can be seen from the outside when showering. 2. Weird pillows, one was too hard and flat and other too soft and high, no standard middle option. For us, those were the only 2 things that the place missed to reach total perfection. Overall, the stay was super positive, we highly recommend it and we would love to come back.

Wonderful flat that's perfect for two. The flat is even more beautiful in person and the bedroom is much bigger than it looks in the photo. It has everything you could want - dressing gowns, slippers, cook utensils, a washing machine, drying rack, an iron, a filter coffee machine as well as a de loghi coffee machine with pads and a steamer. The flat gets cleaned daily whilst you're out and they restock butter, milk, jam and coffee for you. Every morning fresh buns are left for you outside and the host also gave us a welcome wedge of local cheese and a bottle of Portuguese wine when we arrived. The hot tub and sauna were both exceptionally clean. The location is great, 5 minutes to a supermarket and 20 minutes drive to sete cidades. There are a couple restaurants within 10 minutes drive but we mostly cooked in the flat as it had everything. Would 100% recommend.
