Eden House

20 minute walk into centre of Carlingford, spacious, clean, excellent facilities, perfect place for relaxing, friendly host.

Was a bit pricey but all the properties in the Carlingford area are on the expensive side.

Anne was a lovely host, and greeted us at the property. House itself was ideal for a large group with 5 decent sized rooms/ 3 bathrooms including 1 en-suite. Kitchen was fully equipped and we used it to cook for a group of 8 with no problem. Anne also left milk in the fridge and biscuits which were a lovely touch. There was also plenty of parking for cars, and a big garden if lucky with weather. Carlingford village was less than 5 min drive from house and Anne has taxi numbers for local taxi drivers which worked out great for us. I couldn’t recommend this house enough for a stay in Carlingford.

The only negative was even with immersion switched on, the downstairs shower was only warm and pressure not great.

Host was so accommodating and friendly.. House was beautiful, warm in decor & spirit.. V close to Carlingford.. Would definitely return again.
