Breakfast ? What breakfast?

When we made the reservation on-line, among the details, it said we had to vacate by 11:00am. In the handbook at the Treehouse it said we had to leave by 10:00am. The light switches would be better with their location names attatched. When using the shower, for the first time, the water rose up above the bottom of the door. Quite a cause for alarm, until whatever was choking the drain cleared itself. The lights in the outside steps had a bit too much glare. We couldn't find the bags for the bed clothes and towels. Nor could we couldn't find the key lock-box.

Hot tub difficult to properly heat up after tending it most of the day as it was log fired

Comfortable and cosy little cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Really pretty grounds. Quiet.

Could have been more bench space in the bathroom for personal items. I always say this about accommodation though.

More to do with our skills but took us a while to get the first consistently going for the hot tub.

The tree house is beautiful perfect space for both of us. Really secluded and lovely interior

Car park is really bumpy, I have a low car so wasn’t ideal. Hot tub fire was unique but took ages to heat up and even after 2+ hours it was still cold in places. We actually bought more logs and fire lighters as didn’t have enough. An over would’ve been nice.

Great location, about 25 min walk away from pittenweem town centre.

I just can’t bring myself ro write a good review for this property. We booked the tree house with the hot tube but were told that the hot tube is broken. So we agreed to be moved to a studio cottage for usage of a hot tube. However, the cottage is simply not what we wanted for this birthday trip. Inflatable hot tube in a back yard with very little privacy and things in the cottage are broken here and there. Leaking roof and broken towel rail etc.

Very clean and lovely decor. There was also lots of extra places to relax outdoors. Plenty of tea and coffee provided, including a coffee machine. Pets allowed.

The primary reason for our booking was the hot tub, which unfortunately turned out to be the source of our biggest disappointment. We were unaware of several critical details prior to arrival: 1. Shared Amenity: The hot tub is a shared facility among all guests, not private. 2. No Shelter: There is no cover or shelter over the hot tub, making it completely unusable if the weather is poor. 3. Self-Heating Required: Guests must heat the hot tub themselves by making a wood fire, which requires an estimated two-hour wait before the tub is ready. 4. Additional Cost for Wood: Wood is not provided complimentary; guests must either bring their own or purchase it from the host. Given that this stay was specifically booked for a birthday celebration and the hot tub was the deciding factor, the combination of bad weather, the lack of shelter, the required effort to heat it, and the waiting time made it unusable. We ended up not using it at all and were very disappointed. Other Amenities: Shower Pressure: The shower pressure was almost non-existent. Television: The TV was small, but this was a minor issue and was acceptable.
