Madeira In Fife

Comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities. Very quiet and ideally situated to explore the neuk.

This was the idea base for exploring the east Neuk of Fife and the fishing villages of Pittenweem, Anstruther and St Monans via the Fife coastal path. Clean, secluded and dog friendly with loads of extra facilities like bbqs and hot tub should you require them. Was just the two of us plus dog but it would also be ideal for larger family gatherings as well and loads of places for kids to explore within the grounds. Apparently there are plans to build tree houses in a wooded area overlooking some fields which sounds like a great idea. Would definitely stay again if in this area.

Kate and Tara were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was immaculately clean and was only a short walk from Pitenweem with the surrounding towns easily accessible by car. We would definitely stay here again.

It was cute and very well decorated and the grounds were well kept

It was too far out for us. We could take our dogs. However we had neighbours who didn’t like dogs and it wasn’t relaxing for us

Everything else. This was a very small cottage which was not comfortable for 3 adults and a 5yr old. The sofa in living room took up most of the space. Whilst it says up to 4 reality is 2 max
