La Casa del Villanu

The apartment was clean, the bed was excellent as it had a soft topper (something we haven’t experienced in our previous 2 Italian stays), the kitchen was new, and it was in a very quiet location, within a short walk to the old part of Pitigliano. The owner was very responsive to our requests.

The wifi signal was intermittent, and our own eSIM didn’t work for most of the time, so we had to go up the street next to the football pitch to get a signal. The owner says they were working on it, so hoping it is better for the next booking. Would recommend the owner consider putting a table and chairs on the lounge room balcony to avoid the westerly heat and sun for the existing outdoor setting.

Die ruhigeLage und der Parkplatz vor der Tür, auch die Ausstattung waren sehr gut! Karyna war super nett und hilfsbereit.

Der Geruch und der nicht funktionierende Abfuss des Bidet waren die einzig störenden Faktoren.

Air conditioning in bedroom was great. Private location. Bed was comfortable. Wine availble to purchase which we did enjoy. Bathroom was clean.

Shower was very small for a large person but manageable for us. Internet was not working & cell signal very weak standing outside.

Ruhige Lage, fußläufig zur Altstadt. Große Räume, sehr sauber. Super netter Kontakt, proaktiv. Die kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus. Vorschlag hier: ein Sonnenschirm würde die Nutzungsmöglichkeiten deutlich erhöhen.

Die Matratzen sind ziemlich durchgelegen, das hat die Schlafqualität sehr beeinträchtigt.

Our host was caring and attentive. The location was a quick walk into Pitigliano. The apartment was simple, but exceptionally clean and functional. It was magical (after the busyness and noise of Rome) to wake that morning to the song of birds through the bedroom window overlooking woodlands.

The shower was tiny. One had to be careful with a fragile screen.
