We loved the location -- a short walk in one direction to the old town, and in the other direction to the beach and a nice little strip of waterside tavernas. (We are from NYC and are used to walking -- took us about ten minutes.) Also loved the simple, clean, spacious house..

We liked everything, but it's not the place if you want restaurants right out your door. But there was a nearby convenience store with very nice owners, and a farmers market nearby one day.

The place was very spacious and clean. The host was friendly and helpful. A few minutes walk from the beach and city centre. Highly recommend!

The house was spotless and so beautiful and in a great location. The host left us bread, water, milk, cheese, ham and cereal in the fridge and a lovely bottle of wine and some local pastries to welcome us. We will definately be going back!

We had a very enjoyable stay in Chania. The location was perfect and having designated parking was definitely a bonus. The host also had some treats and a bottle of wine waiting which was a pleasant surprise. We truly loved our stay.

the mattresses are rock hard and very uncomfortable

First of all, this is one of the best places you can find on your vacation. The house had it all: hospitality, extra clean, attention to all details like plug adapters and all the other little things you don’t expect to find. I was just speechless.
