I home smelled like cat. It was very clinical. There was nothing warm and comfortable about this place. The large bedroom with two beds is not as pictured. Damaged walls unlike the clean and warm looking pictures. The beds were stained. I wasn’t about to touch the beds let alone think I might sleep on them. I felt like I walked into a dated Motel 6 expecting at least a decent Best Western. It’s a decent place if you just need a bed to sleep in and you aren’t picky about smells and comfort. Not the best neighborhood either. Just down the road is a convenience store with bars on the door and windows. The neighbor next to the driveway has a lot of clutter around. I didn’t feel comfortable in the neighborhood nor inside the house. I showed up, didn’t unpack and left as soon as I found another place. The owners did give me back my pet fee since we didn’t stay.

We had everything we needed and room to gather together and the cost didn’t break our budget. It felt like a home away from home. Management was very quick to reply when we needed any help or information.

The house is older and shows some signs of aging in creaky flooring and finicky old internal doors. The overall remodel is cute, but is lacking in some precision and quality with flooring that is separating in the living room and some loose fixtures in the baths. The flaws are largely cosmetic, but on the whole it would benefit from a few upgrades and fixes and a sharp eye for detail. It was largely clean, but the cleaning process could use some fine tuning also with hair and dust stuck to the door hinges and a few dried drips on the walls.
