Luxury Lodge w Pool Spa Lower Mill Estate

What a location! The view over the lake took my breath away as we first came up the stairs. There is everything you could need and it’s so comfortable - a true home away from home… even with a 1yr old!! The bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in plus a lovely pressure shower and perfect bath for our little boy. Sitting on the decking in the sunshine with a coffee - perfect!

Nothing! Little bit of a walk to the pool… but I mean that’s quite the privileged sentence isn’t it 😅

Absolutely stunning Lakefront Property with a log burner and balconies on each floor. Spacious and very clean we spent Christmas here and we couldn’t want for anymore. Beautiful.

We loved it - no complaints at all

As soon as we entered the house we felt at home. It felt very welcoming with comfy sofas, lovely balcony with great furniture to sit and enjoy the view out to the lake. We sat at sunset and watched the starlings and geese flock overhead as they went to roost. It really was a great few days away with lovely places to go and walk but was hard to leave the house too with the log burner! Overall a great property with a very helpful owner, too, who was always very quick to reply to any questions we had. It calls itself luxurious and it really felt like it was! Great to have access to the spa and a good restaurant on site as well.

Great location with numerous activities if you wish or you can just relax and unwind. Property is central to many great local attractions. Good restaurant on site with numerous great places to eat locally. Property itself was a cut above with great views across the lake. Host Neil went out of his way to make you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Communication leading up to and during the stay was excellent.
