Bakers Cottage

The downstairs living area is lovely. Well supplied and ideal for the family being able to cook and talk at the same time. Owners were great for keeping in touch and organising an extra night. Would definately go again.

Someone parked in the parking space for the cottage, but it was on the last night so no real problem.

Everything you needed, clean comfortable beds.

The position wasn’t as expected, there is no courtyard, just a very narrow road leading to other houses. We just about managed to park our mini next to the cottage, and still allow our neighbours access for their car. We did sit outside on a bench, facing a wall, not the lovely courtyard we were told about. The villagers are all very friendly, but there isn’t anywhere to get an evening meal in the village, as the bakery closed years ago, the pubs don’t sell food and the local hotel was not worth the walk. the road does not have a path due to the lounge extension, this meant all traffic passed inches away from the window. but the cottage inside is excellent and well equipped, and again the locals are lovely and very friendly.
