Peaceful home in a nice spot. Everything apart from the shower was good. Cleaners need a wee training session on spring cleaning check-overs, and then everything will be spot on.

Shower drain was disgusting. The shower tray was filling up with dirty water. We had to go and purchase some gloves and we cleaned out the drain ourselves, years of peoples hair blocking it.

Cooks Beach was a lovely spot. The store is handy and it was quiet than some of the other places in the Coromandel. But handily located for a good explore.

The lock box was very difficult to open. It had jammed or something and we had to ring bachcare who told us the owner said try harder. Not helpful after a day of travelling. We ended up raiding the boot of our rental car and finding a tyre lever and a jack handle and whacking the living daylights out of the lock box to get in. The kitchen was short on things to use for cooking. We ended up using a pot to mix our guacamole dip in because there were no bowls. No dishcloth to wipe down benches.

Location was great, shower was excellent. Wildlife was interesting to watch. Very quiet.

All the pillows need to be replaced, utterly appalling, just squish down to nothing. Had to use cushions from the couch.
