"Exceptional"

We loved the cottage it was full of characture, style and comfort. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast in the pretty garden that was perfect and safe for Basil our dog. Sarita and Jason were extremely welcoming and friendly and we are very much looking forward to staying again. Fantastic hosts and holiday stay at Neptunes Rest...thank you CDB xx

"Neptune"

Decent location with parking. Quiet location. Well equipped kitchen (apart from a spatula, which it now has). Comfortable bed. Decent amount of space. Good wardrobe space.

Entrance door is a 'stable door' with no connection, so top and bottom have to be opened separately, which is awkward. The bathroom is a triumph of form over function. A wet room with a cast iron bath shoved under the shower. At a band average 5'9" I couldn't get my head under the shower! Curtains on the half glass (clear) external doors to the bedroom, facing up the main driveway, had to be secured with pegs for any chance of privacy. No TRVs on radiators, so very difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature in all rooms.

"Beautifully cosy cottage"

We loved our stay here. The cottage is lovely and warm and equipped with everything needed. It was also very clean. Parking was an added bonus. We would highly recommend staying here - a delight!

"Pareltje in Cornwall"

Wat een heerlijk knus en gezellig huisje is Neptunes Rest! Erg leuk ingericht en onze hond was erg blij met het tuintje. De locatie was super. Op een paar minuten lopen van het historische haventje van Charlestown, waar allerlei leuke horecazaakjes zitten. Vanaf het haventje loop je ook zo de South West Coast Path op voor mooie wandelingen langs de kust. Wij hebben enorm genoten!

The welcome. Well presented, roomy and really well fitted accommodation with seaside reclaimed theme throughout. Comfy furniture and quirky touches. Large kitchen with all appliances. Walking distance to Charlestown Harbour & lovely restaurants. Shared garden area.

Bathroom floor could be slippy? As wet room set up with over bath shower. Take some wet shoes if concerned.
