Location was excellent. Very well equipped, everything was very well thought out. Very clean.

The shower was difficult for my elderly parents to use.

Lovely looking cottage in a brilliant location in a harbour town near a nice dog friendly beach and lots of restaurants as well as the Eden Project and Gardens of Heligan. Host was communicative and arranged for us to park at the neighbour’s.

The cottage wasn’t properly clean, and therefore uncomfortable. The sitting room was particularly bad - smelt of mildew, cushions gross, sofa blown… when we put our 4 month old down for tummy time on the rug she came up covered in black hair and dirt. We left 4 nights early and moved to a hotel. With a deep clean and some nicer furniture and fittings this place could be great.

Excellent location and the property is very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We did have to leave rather urgently due to a family emergency so couldn't strip the beds. Great comms with host who allowed our pooch at a small additional cost

I didn't like the fact the windows upstairs are screwed shut; great for security and preserving the integrity of original sash windows etc but rather stuffy overnight and a problem in the event of a fire ( sorry I have a background in emergency services so always thinking about contingencies!)

the property was perfectly placed in Charlestown to access the walk round the harbour and coastal path and also the locals pubs/restaurants which served great good.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the property.

Perfect location. Fully furnished with everything we needed. Lovely comfortable beds and pillows. Parking outside the cottage.

Steep stairs, although it is an old cottage maybe this should be made clear if a guest has a disability. Heating too a long time to warm up.
