Revelin Hvar

This was, by far, our favorite vacation accommodation ever! We loved the beautiful, historical, conveniently located, home and it was super comfortable for the 8 people in our party. The space is welcoming, enchanting and classy yet very much down to earth as well and Wendy is a fantastic and communicative host and she greeted us with all the info we needed for a wonderful stay and a bottle of wine sourced from the island. ( Delicious - highly recommend the posip. ) We found everything about Revelin Hvar just perfect!!

Revelin is located in a beautiful quiet side street with no traffic but moments from the centre of town. The entrance is set back behind a gate and feels very safe and private. It is a wonderful old building which has been sensitively renovated keeping its antique charm but feeling contemporary and up-to-date inside. The house is much larger than expected and decorated to a high standard in a minimal style which feels relaxing, calm and upmarket. It was tricky to decide which bedroom to take as they are all equally lovely. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the towels and bed linens were high quality plain white cotton and the overall aesthetic is very tasteful which is hard to find in a holiday rental property. The outside space is absolutely gorgeous for eating dinner. It is completely private and the only sounds are the occasional church bell and the swallows darting about above. Very atmospheric and relaxing after a hot day in the sun.

I loved everything. Wendy had even aligned the chairs perfectly on the downstairs kitchen table, which kind of sums up the meticulous care for details that have been given in this location!

Maybe the only negative would be the church bells which start quite early in the morning in this little town:-)

The best place ever !! This house is so beautil, comfortable, full of details and full of history. The best place to rest and enjoy your vacations. The house has everything you need to spend some days there, Wendy is the best hostess , she helped us with everything and every detail of the house including decoration and amenities were amazing! I would love for sure to come back!

Beautiful home with every amenity possible. The garden is beautiful. The house is part of a historic building complex and perfectly restored. It's also located 3 minutes away from the sea, restaurants, bars, and shops. Wendy, the host, is very attentive and generous. We loved it so much that we added a day to our stay on Hvar Island.
