Riverside cottage

Mountain around the house and scenery was amazing

Cottage wasn't cleaned properly. When I contacted cottage, they asked photos, no one came to clean it. Stairs to back garden very big and dangerous for our baby. They say it's dog friendly, but is not, if you take dog to bedroom, cleaning fees need to be paid. One of the worst cottage we ever visited, and we travel a lot.

Clean comfortable and homely, parking can be a little tricky but apart from that a really nice place to stay

Nice size rooms and cloakroom downstairs and two bathrooms were very useful Lovely outside spaces

Stone floors were tricky with small children but very attractive to look at.

Almost everything was perfect. Riverside am was very clean, everything was there for a perfect stay. Close to shops and a good base for travelling round Wales. Weather was great while there, so spent time in the garden, looking at the scenic backdrop.

Only minus was that it maybe difficult for some people regarding parking. Could not get close to the house but still park in the road or the small free carpark at the end of the road.

Well maintained cosy small cottage, very quiet area, all you can hear is river ripples and birds chirping. Nice view of mountain.

Parking is tight but not an issue we managed to find a space.. better reverse into the street.

Great facilities and every space is used in the cottage, the garden was useful for my dog. Bed was very comfortable and most of the cottage was finished to a good standard. Kitchen is fully equipped and instructions are very clear as to what you can and can't do. Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Parking is very difficult but possible. Cleanliness could be a bit better- glass and plate were dirty when I took them out the cupboard and the floor wasn't properly clean. Dogs are not allowed upstairs which is fine but the stair gate was broken- luckily my dog is trained to stay downstairs but if she wasn't I'd have had to sleep on the sofa. The notices everywhere don't make it feel very welcome. Also communication would be better if sent the day before as I had already left before I was sent checking out information- luckily I had already done what was asked of me.

The view was stunning from the cottage. While sitting at the dining table, you could hear the river, which was lovely. We walked along the river and followed a trail in the hills. so peaceful. The cottage and garden are a nice size and perfect for us. The cottage was cosy and clean.

We have no faults at all. Faultless.
